TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Brrrr! Temperatures were chilly today, only topping out in the mid to upper 60s, and now they turn even chillier overnight. We will see low to mid 40s in our northern counties. Tampa will slip down into the upper 40s for the first time this season. Our southern counties will sink down into the low 50s.

After the chilly start tomorrow, expect sunny skies and a lighter cool breeze. Temperatures will be in the cool mid to upper 60s for most of the day, topping out around 70° during the afternoon. Expect low humidity, clear skies, and no chances for rain. 

Thursday night turns chilly under clear skies, expect temperatures to dip into the low 50s overnight, making for another crisp start on Christmas Eve. Temperatures will climb on Friday into the mild mid 70s under mostly sunny skies. 

Your Christmas Day forecast looks perfect- there’s a chilly start for fans of the cool weather, but plenty of sunshine warms us up quickly, topping out in the mild upper 70s. The humidity remains low and you can expect a crisp and beautiful evening as temperatures once again turn cool. 

The 8 Day forecast shows a gradual warming trend over the next few days, as tonight will be the chilliest temperatures we will see. The humidity remains low through the weekend, but as we head into next week the humidity begins to creep back into our forecast. Expect partly cloudy skies and above average temperatures next week, topping out in the low 80s with no chances for showers in the forecast.
