Police search for motive in deadly shooting at FSU

Temps start out comfortably cool across the Bay Area this morning with northern and eastern communities starting in the 50s with coastal areas in the low to mid 60s so take a light jacket as you head to work. It will be another hot day with highs around 90 degrees with just a few afternoon clouds.

The student union, a gathering place for many on FSU's campus. Students and staff normally gather everyday between classes in the lawn to catch up with friends or enjoy a bite to eat, but after the tragic events that unfolded today, Students say they will never be able to forget the intense and disturbing scenes that took place here on campus.

The accused shooter, Phoenix Ikner was reportedly found near the Student Union as Tallahassee Police Officers confronted him. Investigators say officers opened fire when he refused their commands. Florida State University students shared their tragic stories after witnessing it all.

A memorial site was growing with flowers, candles and other loving tributes after two people were killed and six were injured in a shooting at Florida State University Thursday.
