A popular breakfast dish found in Sarasota is claiming a title as the No. 1 waffle in the state.
The Food Network named the delicious Toasted Mango Waffle Florida’s top pick in a list of best waffles state-to-state.
The delicious creation is crunchy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside.
The owner, Kimberly Duffy said they dress it up with some sweet and creamy ingredients.
“The airy malted discs — pressed for exactly three minutes — arrive crisp and warm, adorned with cubes of ripe mango, toasted coconut flakes and whipped cream,” the Food Network article said. “It’s a true taste of paradise.”
If you’re looking for a twist on this dish, you can also get the mango French toast.
These brunch delicacies can be found at either of the Toasted Mango Cafe locations, in North Trail and Siesta Key.
