LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) — Voters in Lakeland headed to the polls Tuesday to decide whether they wanted a new mayor for their city.
Current Mayor Bill Mutz was challenged by Saga Stevin for his position.
Mutz is projected to win another term in office. With 100% of precincts reporting, Mutz had 58.6% of the vote compared to Stevin’s 41.4%.
Lakeland voters will also decide on two city commissioner seats and two charter amendments.
