TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and First Lady Casey DeSantis spoke to students at Seminole High School Friday morning about the dangers of using drugs.
The governor and first lady were also joined Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo and several people with first-hand testimonies on how drugs have affected them and their loved ones.
The conference was part of the state’s Facts First, Your Future Initiative. The initiative was launched by the first lady in 2019 to raise awareness of substance abuse among Florida’s youth.
