Deputies are investigating after a man was caught on video punching another man with brass knuckles last month.

The incident occurred at a home on Folklore Drive in Valrico around 2:50 p.m. on March 31.

In security video, an unknown man is seen walking outside of the residence. He approaches the home and rings the doorbell, then a man answers the door and two dogs run out outside.

Deputies said the man told the homeowner he was looking for someone who didn’t live there. When the homeowner tried to retrieve his dogs, the man, who was carrying brass knuckles, punched him in the face twice before he got into his vehicle and fled the scene.

The man is described as a 6 feet 1 inch black male with a light complexion and a muscular build, weighing approximately 200 pounds. He has a tattoo on his right bicep and was last seen wearing a blue baseball hat, a blue t-shirt and light blue jeans and blue athletic shoes.  He was driving a small, silver four-door vehicle.
