George Chronister, son of Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister, who was found guilty of aggravated battery with great bodily harm stemming from a stabbing case, was sentenced on Wednesday.
The amateur rapper was found guilty of stabbing musician Phillip Manzi in a feud reportedly over stolen lyrics. A cell phone video taken about a year ago in a parking lot off Bruce B. Downs Boulevard shows George Chronister with a knife.
Chronister was sentenced to 22 months in prison and three years probation for stabbing Manzi in the face and puncturing his lung.
He is not to have contact with the victim or his family and cannot use social media.
