TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — St. Patrick’s Day weekend is nearly upon us, and if you’re looking for a place to watch the waters turn green or relax with a pint of Guinness, Tampa Bay is your pot of gold.

From festivals and bar crawls to sober and kid-friendly events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Here are some ways you can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Tampa Bay.

River O’ Green

The Hillsborough River will transform into a bright shade of green for the annual festival that kicks off the holiday. Paddyfest St. Pete

The two-day festival at Williams Park, 350 2nd Avenue North, St. Petersburg, will feature live Irish music with bagpipers, Irish dancers, food trucks, whiskey tastings, a kid zone for the kiddos and more.

St. Petersburg Shamrock Stroll 

Throw on something green and join this bar crawl through the streets of St. Petersburg on Saturday, March 16 or Sunday, March 17. Ticket holders will receive a digital map to help them navigate the crawl. They’ll get free drinks and discounts and access to a number of venues and bars, where there will be live music. A videographer and photographer will be there to capture the best moments.

Mary Margaret’s St. Patrick’s Weekend

If you’re looking to belly up to a bar with a glass of whiskey or enjoy some corned beef and cabbage, this might be the spot for you. The pub is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with two days of live music, bagpipers and Irish food. Doors will open at 9 a.m. both Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17. There is no cover.

Flanagan’s St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival 

The “largest St. Patrick’s Festival in Florida,” hosted by Flanagan’s Irish Pub, comes to downtown Dunedin on Sunday, March 17, and will feature a lineup of entertainment and more fun activities. Admission is free.

Sober St. Patrick’s Day 

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day without the hangover at Kava House Brand. The sober botanical lounge is hosting an event from 8 p.m. to midnight on Sunday, March 17. Patrons can enjoy $20 Growler Fills specials throughout the night, along with other drink specials and themed movies.
