SUMMERDALE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Florida boy who has been missing for months has been located in Baldwin County, Alabama.

The Summerdale Police Department received a tip that 6-year-old Alexander Farmer was in a local RV park with his biological father.

Farmer was reported missing from Marianna, Florida in February 2018.

Summerdale Police searched the RV park mentioned in the tip but didn’t find the boy. However, while on patrol, an officer spotted the suspect’s vehicle in another local RV park.

Farmer was found safe and in good health, police said. Authorities are working with the Department of Children and Families to return Farmer to Florida.

The child was with his biological father, Justin Jentz, who police say was using a false identity to stay at RV parks in Summerdale.

Jentz was taken into custody and will be brought back to Florida to face charges, pending an extradition hearing.
