Dan is a Tampa guy who was put through his paces and has returned home to work at the hometown TV station. He grew up right here, graduated from Leto High School and went on to graduate from Florida State.

While on his first job as weekend sports anchor at WJAC-TV in Johnstown, PA he covered Penn State and all the Pittsburgh teams (Steelers, Pirates, Penguins & U. of Pittsburgh).

Among Dan’s most memorable moments include covering the ’95 Rose Bowl (undefeated Penn State team), the Pirates last ever game at Three Rivers Stadium, working two weeks straight during the Bucs Super Bowl run and having champagne poured on his suit while doing interviews in the Lightning locker room following the Stanley Cup win.

Dan’s hobbies include running, playing golf and traveling. He admits to being a baseball junkie and like a lot of guys, his mission in life is to set foot in every Major League ballpark. Since he’s only been to 10 so far, he’s got quite a bit of work ahead. Playing golf while traveling to the rest of them may be a do-able ambition!

Tampa is a great place to live, and he’s happy to be home.
