After joining News Channel 8 in 1999, Chip Osowski moved into reporting the day’s earliest news on News Channel 8 Today 4 years later.

Chip began his career at WESH in Orlando, then moved on to work in High Point, North Carolina, where he met and married his wife. He then returned to Florida to work for Florida’s News Channel before arriving in Tampa.

Osowski has a degree in radio and television, with a minor in law, from the University of Central Florida.

In his years of covering the courts for News Channel 8, Chip has been recognized twice by the Florida Bar Association for excellence in reporting.

Both Chip and his wife, Angela, are members of the News Channel 8 team.

In his spare time, Chip enjoys projects around the house and spending time with the family. They particularly enjoy visits to Busch Gardens and Disney World. The Osowskis live in Northwest Hillsborough County.
