Beth is happy to be home sweet home in Tampa Bay. The Polk County native is excited to be telling stories and serving the community where she grew up. Before making her way back to central Florida, she spent 4 years in the northern part of the Sunshine State reporting at the CBS/Fox duopoly in Jacksonville.

Beth got her first taste of Florida news as an intern at stations in Tallahassee and here in Tampa. However, she started her career as a reporter at the Fox affiliate in Binghamton, NY. After one year, Beth traded the Northeast’s frigid temperatures for ‘Famously Hot’ Columbia, South Carolina.  

The Florida State University grad was a member of the school’s rowing team while getting a dual degree in communications and theatre – Row ‘Noles. When Beth isn’t helping you get ready for your day on News Channel 8 today, you’ll find her running on the beach or playing with her pup, Scout.
