“Amerigo” is a true story set in a small town in post-World War I Italy. However, the film was shot around Florida, using a 100% Italian-speaking crew based in Tampa Bay. The director found the crew, including one of the young stars, Max Mazzacurati, on Facebook. Michelle sat down with Max as well as the co-founder of Stars North Films, Todd Thompson.
