LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) – Federal agents arrested three more people connected to the Jan. 6 capitol attack, including a now-terminated Polk County EMT, officials tell 8 On Your Side.

Michael Perkins, Olivia Pollock, and Joshua Doolin faced a U.S. Magistrate Judge in a Tampa courthouse Wednesday afternoon.

The judge ordered Perkins be held, pending a detention hearing.

In court, a federal prosecutor referred to Perkins’ as “one of the most serious” capitol riot cases.

Perkins is accused of beating a police officer in the head with a flagpole, according to the prosecutor.

Pollock and Doolin were set to be released Wednesday but must wear GPS monitoring devices and surrender their passports and firearms.

Federal agents executed a search warrant at a home near the intersection of N. Galloway Road and Spivey Road in Lakeland early Wednesday morning.

Neighbors say Pollock lives there and Doolin lives nearby.

“I just know they’re good people that live there. They’re religious and church-going folks. They’re just good quiet people you never hear anything out of them,” said Chris Rogers, a neighbor.

Rogers heard the commotion from the federal raid early Wednesday morning.

“It was like maybe 5:30 or so. I jumped up and grabbed a gun because I didn’t know what was going on,” he said.

“It’s been terrible. Just right now, I’m so shaky I can’t hardly talk,” said Esther Pollock, whose relatives live at the property that was raided Wednesday.

Doolin, 23, of Lakeland, was hired as an EMT with Polk County Fire Rescue on May 3, according to Polk County Communications Director Mianne Nelson.

The county is moving forward with his termination, Nelson said.

The defendants are facing charges including assaulting/resisting/impeding officers/employees and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
