Peter Bernard considers himself  to be a  huge fan of news.  He admits to watching news at home and listening to news in his car. He loves to “get the scoop” on a big story.

Peter has worked as a reporter for 37 years. He’s also a Meteorologist, and a Private Pilot.  His background includes stints as an actor-singer in professional theater.  His father is a musician who worked at NBC for many years.  You can still hear his father’s music when TV stations re-run Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-in.

Peter loves new technology and enjoys being among the first to try a new product or gadget. He’s installed “smart home” electronics in his home and controls lights, fans, the thermostat and T.V. with his voice. Peter is a fan of electric cars and drives a Tesla Model 3.

Peter loves the Tampa Bay area.  Living in short pants is the way to go.

An avid tennis player who participates in Bay Area tennis leagues, Peter is married and has 2 children.
